CMC Invest
CMC Invest is a mobile investment app that offers a simplified, low-cost way for customers to embark on their investment journey, launched in 2023.
I was fortunate enough to be involved from the project's inception, and contributed to shaping the app's design system, information architecture, and visual direction as a member of a small design team. Over eighteen months, I helped take the app from its concept phase, to its cross platform launch and beyond.

Working in the Onboarding section of the app, I was responsible for heading up the research and development of user flows for new or pre-existing sections. After creating different high-level information architecture and discussing possible directions with the relevant stakeholders, I worked up a user flow of the chosen direction. This acted as the source of truth for the development and implementation of the new feature.
Design system
In addition to the UI/UX design, I helped to establish and maintain the CMC Invest design system, working closely with developers and designers on its cross-platform implementation. This included the creation of various sets of reusable components to help maintain a consistent work flow for the app.
In addition to creating and maintaining components we began the process of documentation to help provide use cases for each component. The aim of this was to maintain consitency while also helping get new starters up to speed as the team grows and develops.
